Academy Info

Please note that all players who are on Academy teams must also participate in the Medfield Youth Soccer program during both the fall and spring seasons.

The Academy coaches will select three boys teams and three girls teams to compete in the CCL-NE soccer league. The divisions entered are based on the birth year of players which is consistent with guidance from US Soccer. The players will be selected based on their ability and potential and will be placed on the most appropriate team. In general the teams will be comprised of appropriate birth year players although younger players are eligible.

The Academy program seeks to offer a level of training and competitiveness that the broader Medfield program often cannot provide and will continue to follow the renowned Coerver Coaching Method.

Kristine Lilly is Director of Coaching and will lead a staff of coaches focused on skill development.
